1. Who we are
Elevz ("Elevz", "we", "us") is the data controller responsible for the personal data processed through this website. We are based in Porto, Portugal. For any privacy matter, including the requests described below, contact us at contact@elevz.com.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, the legal basis for processing it, and the rights you have under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018, "LGPD") and the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
2. What we collect and why
Contact form. When you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject and message are placed into a draft in your own email application. The data is sent to us only when you choose to send that email. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry.
Careers / talent waitlist. If you email us your CV and details (name, role, location, experience, professional links), we process them to evaluate candidates and contact you about opportunities. We keep these on file until you ask us to remove them.
Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to collect usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and interaction events. This helps us understand and improve the site. See the Cookies section.
3. Legal basis for processing
We rely on the following legal bases (LGPD Art. 7 / GDPR Art. 6):
- Consent — for analytics cookies. You give it through the cookie banner and may withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interest / your request — to reply to messages and process job applications you send us.
6. How long we keep data
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our records, then deleted. Candidate data is retained while relevant to recruitment, or until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings.
7. Your rights
Under the LGPD (Art. 18) and GDPR you may, at any time and free of charge:
- confirm whether we process your data and access it;
- correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- request anonymisation, blocking or deletion of your data;
- request data portability;
- obtain information about with whom we share your data;
- withdraw consent and object to processing;
- lodge a complaint with the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD) or your local supervisory authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through this page.
